Thin fabric, smaller sizing than black colour

I purchased this after buying the same dress in black a few weeks earlier and absolutely loving it.
However, the silver marle fabric is quite a lot thinner and a tighter fit. The few weeks of wearing and washing of my black dress may have loosened it up, but the two dresses feel like a completely different brand/quality.

I'm disappointed I pulled off the tags to wash it without trying it on first - I thought it would be the same fit and quality. The design and style of the dress are great, but I would recommend sizing up, particularly if buying to wear in the third trimester and you prefer not to have a super skin-tight fit.
